Direct answer: Payment settings live on the auction, not in your personal account. Open the campaign and go to the Payments tab. You will not find them on My Dashboard, Edit Profile, or Manage Billing.

Payment settings live on the auction. There are two collection modes.

You will not find Payment Settings in your personal account. It is not on **My Dashboard**, **Edit Profile**, or **Manage Billing**.

## Open the Payments tab

- Go to your dashboard.

- Click **Manage auction** on the auction card. That opens Campaign Hub.

- In the left sidebar, under **CAMPAIGN**, click **Campaign Settings**.

- Open the **Payments** tab.

The tabs are **Basic**, **Page Branding**, **Fulfillment**, **Payments**, **Invoicing**, and **Bidder Experience**.

## Connect your Stripe account (direct payments)

On **Payments**, find **Your Stripe account (direct payments)**.

The heading is **Collect payments in your own Stripe account**.

The helper text is:

**Connect your Stripe account to receive bidder payments directly. When connected, 100% of payments go to your account (no platform processing) and refunds are handled from your account.**

The button is **Connect Stripe**.

When you connect that account, bidder payments go to your Stripe account. You collect with the payment methods it already has. Stripe accounts often have methods such as credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Those are examples from Stripe, not a CharityAuctions checklist.

See [What Payment Methods Are Supported?](https://charityauctions.com/help/what-payment-methods-are-supported).

The **Payments** tab also has **Standard payment flow**. That area includes **Send invoice for payment** and **Instant Buy Now payment**.

## If you connected your own Stripe

There is no **Payouts** tab. There is no Payout option.

In the left sidebar, under **TOOLS**, click **Invoices & Payouts**. You land on **Invoices**.

The page heading is **Manage Invoices**. The helper text is **View bidder invoices and manage payments**. The table columns are **Bidder**, **Won Items**, **Invoice Total**, **Status**, **Card on File**, **Delivery**, and **Actions**.

Open an invoice. Each invoice lists its transactions. That is where you look, in the place you would have looked for Payouts.

## If CharityAuctions collected the money

The **Payouts** tab is there.

- In the left sidebar, under **TOOLS**, click **Invoices & Payouts**.

- Click the **Payouts** tab.

There is no sidebar item named Post Event Tasks.

## Frequently asked questions

### Why don't I see a payment settings section?

Payment settings are not in your personal account. They are not on My Dashboard, Edit Profile, or Manage Billing. They live on the auction. From the dashboard, click Manage auction. In the left sidebar, under CAMPAIGN, click Campaign Settings. Open the Payments tab.

### Do I need to connect Stripe before my auction starts?

Only if you want bidder payments to go to your own Stripe account. From the dashboard, click Manage auction. In the left sidebar, under CAMPAIGN, click Campaign Settings. Open the Payments tab. Under Your Stripe account (direct payments), click Connect Stripe. If CharityAuctions collects the money instead, you do not click Connect Stripe.

### How are bidder payments collected?

There are two collection modes. If you click Connect Stripe, bidder payments go to your own Stripe account. You collect with the methods that Stripe account already has. Stripe accounts often have methods such as credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Those are Stripe-account examples, not a CharityAuctions checklist. See What Payment Methods Are Supported. If you do not connect Stripe, CharityAuctions collects the money.

### What do I need to do to receive my funds?

It depends on the collection mode. If you connected your own Stripe, bidder payments already go to that Stripe account. There is no Payouts tab and no Payout option. In the left sidebar, under TOOLS, click Invoices & Payouts. You land on Invoices. Open an invoice. Each invoice lists its transactions. If CharityAuctions collected the money, the Payouts tab is there. In the left sidebar, under TOOLS, click Invoices & Payouts. Then click the Payouts tab. See How do I set up direct deposit.

### When will I receive my payout?

If you connected your own Stripe, there is no Payouts tab and no CharityAuctions payout timeline. Payments already go to your Stripe account. Look at the transactions listed on each invoice. If CharityAuctions collected the money, the Payouts tab is there. After you request a payout, it goes through a manual review by the CharityAuctions team. After approval, usually 24 to 48 hours, they send a Stripe secure link so you can connect ACH banking. See How do I set up direct deposit.

### Where is Post Event Tasks?

There is no sidebar item named Post Event Tasks. In the left sidebar, under TOOLS, click Invoices & Payouts. If CharityAuctions collected the money, click the Payouts tab. If you connected your own Stripe, that tab is not there. Open Invoices. Each invoice lists its transactions.
