Risk-free auction items are consignment packages you add to a fundraiser at no upfront cost. You only pay if they sell. If they do not, you owe nothing. People also call them consignment auction items, zero-risk auction packages, or no-upfront-cost auction items.

Risk-free auction items are consignment experiences a school or small nonprofit chair adds to a package list with no money due unless they sell.

## How it works

1. **Create a free account and start a package list.** A package list is the group of packages you want in your auction. You do this yourself. You do not need a sales call.
2. **Browse experiences and add what you want.** Open the full list. Add trips and nights out to your package list. Each item comes with a ready-to-use kit.
3. **Run them your way.** Use them in our online auction. Or print bid sheets. Or give the kit to your auctioneer. The item works in all three.
4. **If it sells, enter the winners.** Come back to our site. Enter each winning bidder. We send an invoice. After you pay, we contact the winners to redeem.

If an item does not sell, you owe nothing. If it does sell, you enter the winners and we take it from there.

## FAQ

### What are risk-free auction items?

Risk-free auction items are consignment travel and experience packages (trips, golf, sports VIP, concerts) that nonprofits list at fundraising events. You pay nothing upfront and nothing unless a package sells.

### What does a risk-free package cost my nonprofit?

$0 upfront. Each package has a fixed nonprofit cost. If it sells, you pay that cost and keep everything above it. If it does not sell, you pay nothing.

### How do I get items 100% free?

Through our sponsor program. One way to use it: our sponsors pay for the first package sold, and you keep 100% of that winning bid. Book a call and Tom will walk you through how to set this up for your event.

### How do I list packages at my event?

Book a free call with Tom. He will design your lot with you from the full catalogue, then set everything up in your account. On auction night, you just enter the winning bidders.

### Can I sell the same package more than once in one night?

Yes. Every package can sell an unlimited number of times at your event. If two bidders want the same trip, sell it twice.

### How does "sell 5, get one free" work?

For every 5 packages you sell at your event, the 6th sale is free. The free package is the lowest-priced sale in each group of 6, and you keep 100% of what it brings in.

### What happens after a package sells?

Enter the winning bidder in your account. We send an invoice for the nonprofit cost. After you pay, our team contacts the winner and books their trip.
