Direct answer: CharityAuctions does not use optional tip prompts at checkout. Older plans asked bidders to leave a tip; current plans do not. Today there are two plans: Nothing Out of Pocket (5% success fee) and Prepay and Save.

Current plans

Nothing Out of Pocket: 5% success fee. No upfront software cost. All fundraising modules included.
Prepay and Save: $499 + 3%. All fundraising modules included. Message Blast (email and SMS) is only on this plan.

You do not pay a success fee on items that do not sell. Card processing is separate from the platform success fee. You can pass approved fees to bidders at checkout, including down to 0% for the organization when pass-through is set that way.
