CharityAuctions Plans: 5%, $499+3%, and Custom 0%

CharityAuctions currently offers three pricing paths. The old Help article compared a Free Plan (optional bidder tips) with an Organization Paid Plan (5%). Optional tips are no longer part of checkout.

Current plans

Nothing Out of Pocket — 5%

• No upfront software cost
• 5% success fee on funds raised
• You do not pay a success fee on items that do not sell
• Card processing is separate from the platform success fee

Prepay — $499 + 3%

• $499 setup
• 3% of funds raised
• Built for larger events that want a lower success fee

Custom — 0%

• The organization can pay 0% when fees are passed to bidders
• Use this when you want donors to cover platform fees at checkout

What changed from Free Plan vs Organization Paid Plan

Both old plans included the same auction features. That is still true: current plans share the same tools. The difference is the fee path you choose.

Which plan should I choose

• Nothing Out of Pocket 5% if you want no upfront software cost and can take the 5% success fee from proceeds.
• Prepay $499+3% if you expect a larger event and want a lower success fee.
• Custom 0% if you want the organization to pay nothing and pass fees to bidders.
