How to Add or Edit Auction Administrators

CharityAuctions makes it easy to share management responsibilities by inviting additional administrators and volunteers to help run your auction.

You can add as many team members as you need at no extra cost.

Where to Manage Your Team

All team management is handled directly inside your auction dashboard.

To invite or manage administrators:

  1. Open your auction in the admin dashboard
  2. In the left navigation menu, click Auction Setup
  3. Select Invite Team

This page allows you to view current team members and invite new ones.

Inviting a New Administrator

Adding a new admin or volunteer only takes a moment.

To invite someone to help manage your auction:

  1. Go to Auction Setup → Invite Team
  2. Click the option to add a new team member
  3. Enter the person's Name
  4. Enter their Email Address
  5. Choose the Role you want them to have
  6. Send the invitation

The invited person will receive an email with instructions on how to join your auction team.

What Information Is Required

You only need three pieces of information to invite someone:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Assigned role

No additional setup or technical knowledge is required.

Unlimited Team Members

There is no limit to how many people you can invite.

You can add:

  • Staff members
  • Board members
  • Event volunteers
  • Outside helpers or consultants

This makes it easy to divide tasks such as adding items, answering bidder questions, or managing reports.

Managing Existing Team Members

From the same Invite Team page you can also:

  • View current administrators
  • Review assigned roles
  • Remove team members who no longer need access

This allows you to keep full control over who can manage your auction at any time.

Best Practices

When inviting team members:

  • Only assign roles appropriate to the person's responsibilities
  • Remove access when volunteers no longer need it
  • Double-check email addresses to ensure invitations are delivered correctly
