How to Launch Your Auction and Make It Live
Launching an auction in CharityAuctions is quick and straightforward. Once your setup is complete, going live requires just one simple action.
Step 1: Publish Your Auction
To make your auction publicly accessible:
- Log into your CharityAuctions account
- Open the auction you want to launch
- In the top right corner of the page, click the Publish Auction button
That is all that is required to officially launch your event.
Once published, your auction becomes visible to bidders and can be shared using your auction URL.
Step 2: Bidding Opens Automatically
Publishing your auction makes it visible, but bidding will only begin when the scheduled start time arrives.
Bidding goes live automatically based on the Bid Start Time you set in your auction schedule.
You do not need to manually turn bidding on.
Reviewing or Changing the Bidding Schedule
If you want to confirm or update when bidding begins and ends:
- Open the left navigation menu
- Click Auction Setup
- Select Bid Schedule
- Review or edit the bid start and end times as needed
- Save any changes
This page allows you to adjust your schedule at any time before bidding begins.
Minimum Requirement to Launch
The only requirement for publishing an auction is:
- Your auction must contain at least one item
As long as one item has been added, the auction can be published successfully.

There are no complicated settings or irreversible actions involved. You can:
- Publish the auction at any time
- Edit the bidding schedule after publishing
- Continue adding or updating items even after launch
