Creating Item Signs and QR Codes
Item signs and QR codes live on Display Sheets. In the left sidebar, under Fundraising Modules, click Online Auction. Then open the Display Sheets tab.
There is no left-sidebar entry named Design & Promote, Promote & Links, or Item Management. Do not click Promote in the header for this.
You need items in Item Catalog first. See How do I add an item to my auction?.
Open Display Sheets
- Go to your dashboard.
- Click Manage auction on the auction card. That opens Campaign Hub.
- In the left sidebar, under Fundraising Modules, click Online Auction. You land on Item Catalog.
- In the tab row, click Display Sheets.
The tabs are Item Catalog, Categories, Donors, Risk Free Items, and Display Sheets.
The page URL includes /item-management/item-catalog?tab=preview-sheets.
The heading is Print-Ready Display Sheets.
The helper text says: Review each item's display sheet before printing for your event. All information is formatted for professional presentation. Each sheet includes a scannable QR code with your logo that links directly to the item for easy mobile bidding.
While the tab loads, the page can show Loading Preview Sheets.
What is on a display sheet
The on-screen preview is the sheet. Use Previous and Next to move through items (for example 1/2).
The preview shows:
- The item title
- The item image, or No image available
- SCAN TO BID, with a QR code
- ITEM VALUE (or N/A if there is no value)
- STARTING BID
- DESCRIPTION, or No description provided
- ITEM NUMBER, when the item has one
On items that have photos, the preview also showed Image display controls labeled 1, 2, and 3. Their titles are Show 1 image, Show 2 images, and Show 3 images.
There is no separate QR-only download on this tab. The QR code is on the display sheet.
Edit title or description for the sheet
The tip says: Hover over the title or description to edit text for display sheets. Changes are saved separately and won't affect your item catalog.
You can also use the pencil controls:
- Edit title for display sheet. The field placeholder is Item title...
- Edit description for display sheet. The field placeholder is Item description with formatting...
Description formatting titles include Bold (Ctrl+B), Italic (Ctrl+I), Underline (Ctrl+U), Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 3, Bullet List, Numbered List, Quote, Add Link (Ctrl+K), Align Left, Align Center, Align Right, Text Color, and Insert Table.
Click Save or Cancel.
Download and print
There is no Print button on this tab. You download a PDF, then print it.
- Download All Sheets, with the item count in parentheses (for example Download All Sheets (2))
- Download this sheet, the download icon on the preview card
The download is a PDF. Print that file. Place each sheet next to the physical item.
Guests should scan the QR code with their phone camera. Taking a photo does not open the item. See Why Is the QR Code Not Working When I Take a Picture?.
