How to Create a New Auction
Direct answer: You can create a new auction two ways: from inside an existing auction, or from your main account dashboard. Both use the Create a New Auction tile on your main account dashboard.
Creating a new auction in CharityAuctions is quick and easy. Whether you are finishing up a previous event or starting fresh, you can launch a new auction directly from your account dashboard at any time.

- Log in to your CharityAuctions account
- While inside any existing auction, look in the top left corner of the screen
- Click the auction dropdown menu that shows the name of your current auction
- From the list of auctions, select View All Auctions
- This will take you to your main account dashboard
- Click the tile that says Create a New Auction
- Follow the prompts to set up your new event
Once completed, your new auction will be created and ready for setup.
Creating a New Auction From the Main Dashboard
If you are already on your main account dashboard, you can skip the dropdown menu and go straight to creating an auction.
To start a new auction from the dashboard:
- Log in to your account
- Make sure you are on the main account dashboard page
- Locate the Create a New Auction tile
- Click the tile to begin the auction creation process
- Enter your auction details and save
Your new auction will now appear in your list of available events.
What Happens After You Create an Auction
After creating a new auction, you can begin customizing it right away.
You will be able to:
- Add auction items
- Upload images
- Set dates and times
- Customize event settings
- Begin promoting your auction
Each auction you create is completely separate, allowing you to run multiple events throughout the year.
