Why Don't I See Payment Settings in My Account?
You will not find Payment Settings in your personal account. It is not on My Dashboard, Edit Profile, or Manage Billing.
Payment settings live on the auction. There are two collection modes.
Open the Payments tab
- Go to your dashboard.
- Click Manage auction on the auction card. That opens Campaign Hub.
- In the left sidebar, under CAMPAIGN, click Campaign Settings.
- Open the Payments tab.
The tabs are Basic, Page Branding, Fulfillment, Payments, Invoicing, and Bidder Experience.
Connect your Stripe account (direct payments)
On Payments, find Your Stripe account (direct payments).
The heading is Collect payments in your own Stripe account.
The helper text is:
Connect your Stripe account to receive bidder payments directly. When connected, 100% of payments go to your account (no platform processing) and refunds are handled from your account.
The button is Connect Stripe.
When you connect that account, bidder payments go to your Stripe account. You collect with the payment methods it already has. Stripe accounts often have methods such as credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Those are examples from Stripe, not a CharityAuctions checklist.
See What Payment Methods Are Supported?.
The Payments tab also has Standard payment flow. That area includes Send invoice for payment and Instant Buy Now payment.
If you connected your own Stripe
There is no Payouts tab. There is no Payout option.
In the left sidebar, under TOOLS, click Invoices & Payouts. You land on Invoices.
The page heading is Manage Invoices. The helper text is View bidder invoices and manage payments. The table columns are Bidder, Won Items, Invoice Total, Status, Card on File, Delivery, and Actions.
Open an invoice. Each invoice lists its transactions. That is where you look, in the place you would have looked for Payouts.
If CharityAuctions collected the money
The Payouts tab is there.
- In the left sidebar, under TOOLS, click Invoices & Payouts.
- Click the Payouts tab.
There is no sidebar item named Post Event Tasks.
