Receiving Auction Payouts
After your auction ends and bidders have paid their invoices, the final step is receiving your auction funds.
CharityAuctions makes the payout process simple and secure, with clear steps to verify your account and receive payment directly to your bank.
Where to Manage Payouts
All payout activity is handled from a single location in your auction dashboard.
To access payout information:
- Open your auction dashboard
- Go to Post Event Tasks in the left navigation menu
- Click Payouts
This page is where you will complete verification steps, request payouts, and check payout status.
Completing the Verification Setup
Before funds can be released, a one-time verification process must be completed.
To begin verification:
- Navigate to Post Event Tasks > Payouts
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the Verification Setup
- Confirm all required account details
This step ensures payouts are processed securely and sent to the correct organization.
Submitting Your Banking Information
For security reasons, banking details are not entered directly into CharityAuctions.
Once a payout is requested:
- CharityAuctions will trigger a secure email from Stripe
- The email will contain a link to submit your banking information
- You will enter your payout account details on Stripe's secure form
- After submission, your payout can be processed
This process keeps sensitive financial information protected and private.
When Will I Receive My Payout
Payouts are not immediate and require a short processing period.
In most cases:
- Payouts are processed within 5 to 7 business days
- Funds are sent directly to the bank account you provided
- Timing begins after verification is complete

Understanding Pending Payout Status
If your payout shows as pending, it usually means one of two things:
- You are still within the normal 5 to 7 day processing period
- Banking information has not yet been submitted through Stripe
Pending status does not mean there is a problem. It simply indicates that one of these required steps is still in progress.
Updating Your Bank Account Information
If you need to change or update where payouts are sent:
- Request a new payout from the Payouts page
- Watch for the secure Stripe email
- Enter the updated banking information using the secure link
